Collaboration in Education

Through its sister company, Intechnica
International, IEC has had business interests in Viet Nam since 1995 when in cooperation
with LaSalle College Group based in Montreal, Canada, Intechnica opened a large English
language center in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), CADASA-LaSalle. This center was highly
successful and trained more than 1,000 students. In 1997, Intechnica, having licensed IEC
as the sole agent in forming such collaborations, entered the Vietnamese market directly
through a cooperation with the HCMC University of Technology (HUTECH). This relationship
has been recognized by the Government of Vietnam and accordingly licensed to establish
English language and TOEFL training centers. |

IEC has organized its business in Viet Nam using
important relationships in the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) Ministry of
Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), and Communist Party formed through members of
our staff since 1988. IEC is proud of its success in Viet Nam and expects to expand there
with many cooperative schools. We are currently working on opening schools in Hanoi, Thai
Nguyen, Hue, Da Nang, Tam Ky, Bien Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City. |
